Badger Meter is the pioneer in wireless oil dispensing management for mechanical workshops. The system controls and manages the dispensing of oils, coolant, windshield fluid, and other fluids dispensed in the workshop – this provides precise control, and greater visibility and reporting on fluid dispensing operations. The Badger Meter system can also be integrated to the site dealer management system (DMS) to reduce the need for human input and possible errors in reporting and logging, providing obvious labour savings and efficiencies.
Tracking
Tank levels can be monitored within the system software, and alerts can be triggered at re-order levels.
Installation
The wireless system is very quick to install with the on-site installation taking no more than a day for the majority of installations with minimal disruption to the workshop operation.
Accountability
Dispense reports are sent to the system software at the completion of each dispense that includes the following data:
Date & time of dispense
Fluid type
Dispense point number
Amount of fluid dispensed
Job or fleet number
Person’s name.
The dispense reports can be filtered by any of the above data. For example, office staff may need to view all oils that were dispensed for a particular job, so entering the job number into the filter will bring up only the dispenses made for this job.
The System
The Badger Meter system utilises wireless communication to actively track bulk fluids between all system hardware components. The system can operate either stand-alone, or with the addition of a small interface program it can be integrated to a dealer management system.
